Avoiding intentional tanning or prolonged sun exposure for 2 weeks pre/post-treatment. No fake tan a week before treatment
Stop using exfoliants (like AHAs/BHAs), retinoids (retinol), or strong active ingredients for 3-5 days before appointment
  • Hair Removal: Avoid shaving, waxing, or hair removal creams in the treatment area a week before treatment
  • Consultation: Have a thorough consultation with your practitioner to discuss your skin goals

It’s important you continue to show your skin some love following your treatment at Grand Aesthetics to get the best results. You’ll be prescribed a bespoke course of treatments and home care products to take with you, all of which will be explained in detail. Make sure you’re following the recommended routine between each of your appointments at our clinic to enhance the effects of your aesthetic treatments.

  • Don’t Touch: Avoid touching, rubbing, or picking your skin to prevent infection and irritation.
  • No Makeup 24 hours post treatment
  • Avoid active skincare products (acids, retinols) for 3 days post treatment
  • Sun Protection: Apply SPF 50 immediately and continue to do so religiously, even indoors.
  • Avoid Heat & Sweat: Steer clear of saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, strenuous exercise, and swimming to prevent clogging pores and irritation for up to a week after treatment
