Blending two components—hyaluronic acid (HA) and calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHa)—this innovative hybrid injectable, HArmonyCa™, delivers an immediate lift and enduring effects.

How quickly will I see results?

You should notice a difference straight away as HArmonyCa™ tightens the skin, but this treatment is for patients who have patience, optimum results are often seen around three months post-treatment, where the effects of the CaHa and bio-stimulation start to present.

How long does HArmonyCA™ last?

This will differ from person to person, but you should notice the benefits for up to 12-16 months, and follow up appointments can extend the duration.

Undergo a detailed consultation to discuss your goals, medical history, and suitability for the treatment.

  • Stay away from aspirin, ibuprofen, and other non-essential blood-thinning medications for up to a week prior to your appointment.
  • Avoid supplements like Vitamin E, Fish Oil (Omega-3), Ginkgo Biloba, and St. John’s Wort for up to a week, as they can increase bruising.
  • Refrain from using active ingredients like retinoids, AHAs, and BHAs for about three days before the procedure.
  • Inform your provider about any prescription medications you are taking, such as essential blood thinners, as you may need to discuss this with them before stopping.
  • Some providers recommend taking oral Arnica tablets to help reduce bruising and swelling, but check with your practitioner first.
  • Make sure to have a small meal or snack before your treatment to avoid feeling light-headed.
  • Avoid Alcohol: For at least 24 hours before treatment, avoid alcohol to reduce blood thinning and bruising.

It’s important you continue to show your skin some love following your treatment at Grand Aesthetics to get the best results. You’ll be prescribed a bespoke course of treatments and home care products to take with you, all of which will be explained in detail. Make sure you’re following the recommended routine between each of your appointments at our clinic to enhance the effects of your aesthetic treatments.

  • Skip intense exercise, sports, and swimming to prevent increased blood flow that can worsen swelling and bruising.
  • Drinking plenty of water can help reduce swelling and support the healing process.
  • You can Apply an ice pack or cold compress to the treated area to minimise redness and swelling.
  • Refrain from drinking alcohol, as it can thin the blood and increase bruising.
  • Do not apply makeup to the treated area for at least 8 hours after the procedure.
  • Steer clear of hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, and tanning beds for 48 hours
  • Gently wash the area, avoiding any firm pressure, and avoid applying creams to the treated area for a few hours.
  • Do not undergo facials, waxes, or other treatments on the treated area for at least two weeks after the HArmonyCa treatment.
